My room was beautiful, but the cleaning definitely needs improvement.

During my stay, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, especially the bed sheets. I also encountered issues with the lift on my first day, where the doors got stuck and I had to force them open. Additionally, I was disappointed to discover that the advertised spa was actually just a health club nearby, and the pool appeared uninviting and noisy, which ruined my relaxation plans after a long journey.

I adored my stay! The beautiful wooden furniture and crisp linens in my room. Plus, the proximity to the ocean offered fine views, and having breakfast with a variety of pastries and fruits was the perfect way to start my day.

I had an amazing stay! The room was stunning with a fantastic view, and the Mediterranean restaurant had the best seafood. I wish the furniture was a bit newer, though.

Stunning views just a quick walk from the beach, perfect for evening strolls along the ocean. The restaurant serves tasty meals and the staff was exceptionally helpful when planning local tours. Breakfast was fresh and reasonably priced.

The only downside was some noise from nearby areas during the night which interrupted sleep occasionally.

I loved my stay thanks to the amazing location just a few steps from the scenic promenade along the ocean and the beautiful Jardins do Palacio de Cristal, perfect for leisurely walks. the staff made me feel really welcome and were incredibly accommodating, which always adds to the experience.

Good place with amenities like free parking, a fitness center, and a lovely restaurant. The staff once helped me find great dining options, which I still appreciate. I’m coming back for a weekend!

The spacious room featured stylish walnut furniture and stunning sea views from the balcony. Breakfast had an excellent variety, including fresh fruit and delicious pastries. However, the shower pressure was inconsistent, and the fridge wasn't stocked upon arrival, which was disappointing. Proximity to local restaurants was convenient, but it could be further from the city center for those preferring more nightlife options.

the golden tulip has a fantastic location next to the douro river, perfect for taking leisurely walks or runs along the scenic waterfront. the gym was well-equipped, and i particularly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the spa with its hot tub and sauna, making for a great way to unwind after a day of exploring.
